About
Strathdon House is a historic site nestled in Forest Hill with roots dating back to the 1890s. It is a charming cottage on six acres of garden, and is cared for by volunteers. Strathdon House wanted a new brand identity and website that was more modern and nature-focused, as well as a campaign to attract new volunteers.

Design Decisions
The design uses clean, nature-focused imagery and a muted green palette to enhance the natural, trustworthy feel, avoiding the artificial tone of brighter colours. A modern, minimal typeface paired with a handwritten accent creates a balance between professionalism and warmth, complementing the organic aesthetic. The logo is simple, versatile, and timeless, featuring a curved line within the ‘h’ that subtly forms an ‘s’ for Strathdon. Overall, the design reflects a modern connection to nature, authenticity, and community.
